How-to Use Google Takeout to Backup Google Drive

THE BELOW PROCESS IS NOT REQUIRED BUT OPTIONAL IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SAVE YOUR GOOGLE DATA EXTERNALLY.

1. Open a web browser

2. From the address bar, type the following URL https://clever.com/in/rcsdk8

3. Click the Login with Google button, and enter your email address and password used at school to access Clever, Gmail, Otus, etc. (i.e. 275555@rcsdkids.us) to sign in.

4. Within Clever, under Google Apps click on Google Takeout to access Google Takeout.

Or from the address bar, type the following URL https://takeout.google.com/

5. Within Google Takeout, under Create a New Export, click Deselect all

6. Select the check box to the right of Drive.

7. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click Next Step and then Create Export
   
   
8. When the export is complete, click the Download button to save the file directly to Google File Manager, or directly to your desktop or downloads folder.

You will be prompted to re-enter your RCSDK8 or RCSD Kids Password.

Once the download has been saved locally to the device, you can either export the file to an external USB thumb drive, save the file to another personal account, or save it locally on another personal device.
