Activating Closed Captions
- Navigate to zoom.us
- Click Sign-in, and sign in using your RCSD login information.
Click the Settings tab in the upper left corner
- Search for Closed captioning found in the In Meeting (Advanced) section
- Check the sub setting: Enable live transcription service to show transcript on the side panel in-meeting

Enabling in Meeting
- Click the Live Transcript button in the bottom of your Zoom meeting window.
- Select Enable Auto-Transcription.

Live Transcripts
- As the Host: Click the ^ (caret) key to the upper right of the Live Transcript button.
- As a Participant: Click the Live Transcript button within your Zoom meeting. (PC, Mac, iPad only).
- Select View Full Transcript.

Displaying Closed Captions
- As the Host: Click the ^ (caret) key to the upper right of the Live Transcript button.
- As a Participant: Click the Live Transcript button within your Zoom meeting.
- Select Show Subtitle.

Hiding Closed Captions
- Subtitles will be displayed at the bottom of your Zoom meeting client.
- You can hide the subtitles at any time by clicking the ^ (carat) key, and selecting Hide Subtitle.

Caption Settings
- As the Host: Click the ^ (caret) key to the upper right of the Live Transcript button within your Zoom meeting.
- As a Participant: Click the Live Transcript button within your Zoom meeting.
- Select, Subtitle Settings.
- Use the slider at the top of the Accessibility tab in the Zoom application setting's window to adjust the font size of the subtitles.
