Rubric Assessment
\
- After logging in to Otus using your account navigate to the “Assessment” tab.
- Find the Assessment you would like to assign within your folders.
-
Click the three dots and select your action.
-
All Assessments - You can open the assessment and then click “Assign” in the upper right-hand corner, even within the “Shared with Me” folder.
-
Rubric Assessments- You can also “Clone to My Folders” to edit the rubric if needed.
- Assign the assessment to the corresponding class (subject).
-
When using Rubric, Simple, or Advanced Assessments you will need to decide if you want to “Allow Multiple Attempts.”
-
Simple & Advanced Assessments- If a teacher allows multiple attempts, the score from the previous attempt is overwritten in the grade book and previous answers are not saved when they retake the assessment.
-
Rubric Assessment- If a teacher allows multiple attempts and a student submits the Rubric Assessment again, the previous grade does appear and the teacher can decide if they would like to change the score of this Rubric Assessment.
-
-
If you have already turned on “Allow Multiple Attempts” it can be turned off by going into your assigned assessments, click the three dots, and click “Edit.”.
-
If you have turned off Multiple Attempts for all students, but have a student that you want to take the assessment again, you can clone the assessment and re-assign it for a second score.
-
If you would like the first assessment score to be removed for one or multiple students, you would go to Manage Assignees and click the box next to the student name.
-
Unchecking a box will unassign the assessment from that student,
permanently erase the assessment data from that student, and permanently remove the grade from the grade book for that student.
